These terms govern a customer's use of Flashbuy and purchases made through the marketplace. They do not apply to the separate seller relationship; sellers must use the seller terms made available in the seller area. Nothing in these terms limits a non-excludable right under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA).

1. About Flashbuy

Flashbuy is an online multi-vendor marketplace operated by Multi Junction Technologies. Independent third-party sellers list and supply most products. Flashbuy provides the marketplace, helps coordinate orders, payments, delivery and support, and may itself supply services or products where we say so.

Where a seller is the supplier of an item, that seller remains responsible for its listing, the goods it supplies and the applicable consumer obligations. Flashbuy may assist you to resolve an issue and will not use this structure to reduce a right the law gives you.

2. Using the marketplace and your account

You must provide accurate, current information when creating or using an account, keep your password confidential, and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been misused. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account where it results from failing to protect your credentials.

You may use Flashbuy only for lawful personal or business purposes. You may not interfere with the marketplace, create false accounts or reviews, misuse promotions, attempt unauthorised access, or use the site to commit fraud or infringement. We may take proportionate action for a genuine security, fraud or legal risk, subject to applicable law.

3. Product listings, price and availability

We and sellers aim to display accurate descriptions, images, prices, stock and delivery information. Images may be illustrative and colours can vary between screens. Please review the listing, seller, price, delivery cost and delivery estimate at checkout before placing an order.

Stock and prices can change. If a material listing, price or availability error is identified before dispatch, we may correct it, cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid. We will notify you and, where practical, offer a reasonable alternative. This does not affect statutory remedies for a misleading representation.

4. Placing an order and payment

Submitting an order is an offer to buy the selected item(s). We will acknowledge receipt, but an order is accepted only when the applicable seller confirms it for fulfilment or the item is dispatched, subject to the law. In unusual cases, an order may be declined or cancelled for stock unavailability, a pricing or technical error, suspected fraud, payment failure, legal restrictions, or another fair and lawful reason. If we cancel after payment, we will refund the applicable amount without undue delay.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by the selected payment provider; do not send card details, passwords or payment credentials by email or chat. A seller will not receive more customer payment information than is necessary to fulfil the order or handle a lawful return.

5. Delivery

Delivery information, charges and an estimated delivery time are shown at checkout. A multi-seller order may arrive in separate parcels. Delivery estimates are not guarantees, but we and the seller will use reasonable efforts to fulfil a confirmed order.

You must provide a complete, accurate delivery address and reasonable contact details. You or an authorised person should inspect a parcel on delivery and report missing, damaged or incorrect items promptly through your account or Flashbuy Support. 6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Return, repair, replacement and refund requests are handled under the Returns & Refunds Policy (/return-policy). That policy includes a 30-day marketplace return route for eligible items and explains the CPA remedies for defective goods.

If you wish to cancel before dispatch, submit the request promptly. We will tell you whether cancellation is still possible. Once an order has been dispatched, the returns process normally applies. Your statutory cancellation, return and refund rights are not limited by this section.

7. Customer communications and reviews

We may send service messages about your account, orders, security, delivery, returns and changes that affect your use of Flashbuy. Marketing messages are optional; you can unsubscribe from them at any time.

If you submit a review, question, image or other content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful and not abusive, misleading or infringing. We may moderate content fairly to protect customers, sellers and the marketplace. Your honest opinion will not be removed merely because it is negative.

8. Intellectual property

Flashbuy's branding, platform design and content are protected by law. Product names, images and descriptions may belong to the relevant seller or rights holder. You may use the marketplace for its intended purpose but may not copy, scrape, reproduce, distribute or exploit protected content except with permission or where the law allows it.

9. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy (/privacy-policy) explains how Multi Junction Technologies processes personal information and uses cookies. By using Flashbuy, you acknowledge that policy. Where consent is required, we will ask for it separately and you may manage non-essential cookie preferences through the available controls.

10. Liability and your legal rights

We work to keep Flashbuy available, secure and accurate, but an online marketplace may occasionally be unavailable or contain an error. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Multi Junction nor a seller is liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to unsafe goods, defective goods, misleading conduct, gross negligence or intentional wrongdoing where the law protects you.

11. Changes and law

We may change these terms for future use or future orders. We will publish the updated version with a new effective date. A change will not unfairly alter a confirmed order or reduce a right already granted by law.

South African law applies to these terms. Nothing prevents you from using a consumer-protection remedy or complaint process available to you under applicable law.
